Disebut-sebut sebagai One Direction versi cewek, pemenang The X Factor season delapan ini menjadi the new teens idol di Inggris, sist. Dengan single terbaru mereka, Wings, yang dirilis 30 Mei kemarin, this girls are finally ready to take the music industry!

Found Their Fame
Jauh sebelum memenangkan ajang pencarian bakat The X Factor season delapan, Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock dan Jade Thirlwall hanyalah gadis biasa. Perrie dan Jade masih berstatus sebagai pelajar yang punya mimpi menjadi bintang, Jesy bekerja sebagai palayan di sebuah bar, sedangkan Leigh-Anne harus menyambung hidup dengan bekerja sebagai waitress di Pizza Hut. Nah, mereka semua baru bertemu setelah keempatnya gagal lolos audisi sebagai penyanyi solo di The X Factor season delapan dan dipertemukan kembali oleh juri sebagai sebuah group. Dimentori oleh Tulisa Contostavlos, tanggal 11 Desember 2011 group yang awalnya bernama Rhythmix ini akhirnya berhasil mengalahkan Marcus Collins and be the first ever group to win the show.
Their Debut
Dihari yang sama dengan kemenangan mereka, their winner’s single Cannonball was released via digital download. Hebatnya, single pertama mereka ini berhasil merajai UK Singles Chart seminggu kemudian. Tanggal 25 Januari, Little Mix diundang tampil di acara National Television Awards dan menyanyikan lagu Don’t Let Go milik girls group En Vouge. Penampilan mereka ini mengundang perhatian dan pujian dari para penonton. Seiring dengan nama mereka yang makin bersinar, Little Mix  sepertinya enggak mau membuang waktu. After signed a deal with Vivid and Bravado to release their own range of products including dolls, puzzles, accessories and games, Little Mix jugamerilis buku autobiography mereka pada 31 Agustus kemarin Lewat live stream via Twitcam, keempatnya juga baru aja mengumumkan bahwa mereka tengah mengumpulkan materi untuk album pertama mereka yang rencananya akan dirilis akhir tahun ini.

Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson Back To Work On “Catching Fire”

RumorFix has learned that production on the sequel to Hunger Games has started. A spokesperson with Lionsgate tells us that Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson are all back to work on Catching Fire.

The film will primarily be shot in and around Atlanta, Georgia, with some additional work being done in the beaches and jungles of Hawaii. Production is scheduled to wrap in December.
Lionsgate’s President of Production Eric Feig, who is overseeing the production on behalf of the studio, says in a statement:

“We are so excited to be embarking on this adventure with Francis Lawrence, who has already exhibited immense creative vision and resourcefulness in casting the film and planning its look and feel.  The stakes are raised in every way in this second story, and we are thrilled to get the production underway in these perfect locations, with our excellent returning cast and some world class actors in new roles.”

Earlier this summer, it was confirmed that the final film of the series, Mockingjay, would be split into two separate films.
